Lets be real here. The real reason these guys don’t want drag queens, and immigrants reading to kids, is because then the kids would have a trustworthy adult to protect them from what these assholes are doing to them.
If a little 7 year old comes up to a drag queen and says “that man touched me…”, that drag queen is about to drag that guys face across the parking lot.
It’s not about the “danger” drag queens and immigrants pose to kids. It’s about the dangers they pose towards stopping all the fucked up shit they’re doing. They don’t want anyone protecting the kids.
And just so we’re clear, within the next year, you’re about to see a bunch of new age verification laws. It’s not about verifying your age. It’s about verifying your identity, so they can track you across the internet.

Also, the “otherization” of groups is fundamental to “late stage capitalism” or really as I hope most people have realized is just an evolution of capitalism into its defense state of fascism. As capitalisms contradictions result in a decline in the rate of profit and the material conditions of the masses we are met with what we see today.

But if you’re asking yourself what the “otherization” of minority groups and the privilege of majority groups have to do with “late stage capitalism” then I think you haven’t realized what “late stage capitalism” is. It’s fascism. And a fundamental part of fascism is the targeting of scapegoats to redirect blame away from the capitalist class.
