Well written article. Sad they plan to let down their voters on a direct ballot initiative with such broad support and quite clear intent, and cowardly to try to pass it off as “tweaks” to the original bill.

The measure sits on the desk of Gov. Tina Kotek, a Portland Democrat. She has until April 17 to decide on it.
Just like Florida’s legislature did to its voters in regards to the felon voting rights amendment.
Just like Washington State’s courts did to its voters in regards to taming the outrageous DMV fees. (Highest in the country, woo!)
Ohio voters overwhelmingly passed marijuana legalization. It just got massively undermined, effective today.
