The child star of the movie is also the director’s daughter, which leads to one of the performances of all time.

This movie has surprise blackface. It’s not even something that’s justifiable due to the period or plot, they just do it.

I just noticed that award when rewatching the trailer. I will say the film definitely lives up to its 2nd Place prize at the Myrtle Beach International.
I bought an extra DVD copy to send to the RLM crew, so hopefully there’s a bit more footage online of this one soon.
