1081·12 days agoJoin whatever instance you want, follow whoever you want, and most importantly, don’t let the Mastodon HOA push you around. They lurk in all corners of the Fediverse trying to tell you what you should or shouldn’t do, which defeats the whole idea.

I had to sign up for DSL this week in Frankfurt, DE as my neighborhood didn’t have cable or fiber internet. Don’t think that we’re gonna be cloud-ready any time in the next 50 years. DSL. Frankfurt. Major city.
That’s pretty much the endgame here.
It’s missing a late-career/life-stage GG Allin companion in a jar. Which would be hilarious and pretty much the only way I’d buy one of these worthless things.
Might be down for this if it supports Ghosts ‘n Goblins. Or Hotline Miami 2. 😵💫

2·3 months agoI still use LocalSend fairly often. Works better for large groups of files. But for internet, Destiny is pretty awesome at getting the job done, even with large files.
Was getting great use of the Destiny File Transfer client for a while. Localsend as well. Great for loading up the mobile devices with movies and music, with little fuss.
