In my city you just put anything you don’t want out in the street, maybe with a little note saying “still working” or some other relevant info if it was an appliance and it will usually be gone within the hour.

I have furnished multiple flats with free street furniture that I have come across whilst out and just had to carry home.

I realise that it is not like this everywhere but I love the culture of actively recycling useful items within the community just by leaving them in the street for people!

Oh shit, I remember playing a demo for this probably around 1999 and enjoying it a lot but I never played the full game!

I’m not saying that it was a fault of pop more my install of it seemed to have issues for whatever reason :)

Plenty of people say that they work fine using wine and lutris. I however have spent 10s of hours trying to get them to work. I had one game work successfully one time and I thought i had cracked it but upon rebooting the system and returning to play more it just constantly crashed again.

I’m sure the issue lies with me somewhere and I havent tried it for a while but just be prepared for a fucking frustrating time if it doesnt just work like so many people claim it does for them.

I have the idea that it may have been my install of pop os that was causing me issues as I could never get arc raiders to load via steam and that is a game that most people said ran absolutely fine I just got sick of spending hours fucking about with things rather than playing games so ended up putting win 10 back on my machine with intention to return and try a different distro but just haven’t got around to it yet.

This just shows how different everyone is though. The only trips I regret are the ones where I have gone with other people. Travelling with other people is the fucking worst for me and it just ruins any trip having another person there with me, no matter the relationship.

I’m pretty sure mine just works as it should, I never had any issues receiving things that I’m aware of, I just installed it and forgot about it.

I feel the same but what it comes down to for me is I hate Nintendo IPs and for the most part it is the Nintendo games that bring people to their consoles.

Pretty much everything else is available elsewhere. Or at least that is the impression I get. Does the console have any noteworthy exclusives that aren’t Nintendo characters.

Pokemon would be the main thing that appealed for me too but I liked red, blue, stadium and that was about it. I didnt play much after that and what I did didnt stick so I think I’d have similar feelings to you towards the new ones.

I don’t blame you, I was very close to doing so and didn’t really feel it was worth it by the time I was done.

I will say I did watch the show as well and it kind of deviates from the source before sorting of coming back together with it and then deviating again. You can kind of watch it some what as its own thing.

It was pretty mid though still so on the whole I really liked the concept as it was presented initially but then both book and TV developed in directions that I think were a bit dull.

Oh, shame, I find it hits the exact same spots as Carl for me. I’ll be honest, I thought it was the same reader to begin with, however I know how much the narrator can negatively effect how you feel about what you are listening to.

I disagree on Silo being a page turner. I found it an utter slog with no real pay off, especially the second book.

Didn’t even try. Did it the first time but skill points on a tree full of skills that really don’t make a lot of difference to the game IMO is a shitty “reward” for how much work you have to put in to do some of the requirements.

Since the last expedition my play time dropped off drastically anyway because I really don’t feel any incentive to keep coming back to the game without any kind of goal to drive me along.

If you open an image link so it opens full screen it will force the app back to how it should be without a restart. At least it used to work like that for me, i haven’t seen this error in a while.
