Are you using Nvidia? Those apparently have many more issues than AMD GPUs. That being said bazzite comes with lots of preinstalled things like drivers, steam, lutris(for wine) and bazaar for apps.

I’ve used mullvlad for over a decade. Just started using proton last year. Both offer really good encryption and in great countries outside of the big data stealers. Mullvad sweden, proton swiss. Last I saw protons encryption is a bit better…both offer two-hop. Proton offers many more countries and servers. And proton is a bit faster.

Been using bazzite nearly a year now. I also have mint installed thinking bazzite wouldn’t be a great daily. I was proven wrong. Bazzite is great.
