1·2 days agoI apologise. I thought that, since you were replying to a comment talking about Stalin killing Nazi’s and you replied with murdering his own people, you were meaning that Nazi’s were his own people.

Mechanical Keyboards@lemmy.ml•Where did all the keyboard kits go?English
1·2 days agoI am very interested in 40s. I’ve been looking at the Epomaker th40 since group buy options still seam too expensive to me. I just so happen to like the keycaps and switches so I won’t feel the need to replace them as well, I’m especially glad about not having to replace the keycaps. I don’t understand how keycaps can be so much more expensive than switches despite being much simpler in design.
ctrl+super+option+shift+esc+G is all you need for a print screen.

Oh I see now.
I feel like your nitpicking, at least hid general sentiment of being anti genocide is good. If it means more people in the US become aware of it then that is a good thing.

10·8 days agoI think it’s cool trying to figure out a way to do this without google, but it still won’t solve the fact that credit card payments aren’t private and are linked to your identity. As always cash is the way to go.
Also if you are still going to have a credit card (I mean fare I have one too) why not just use a physical card rather than paying on your phone?

I dont think the free linux desktop for everyone that we all dream about will ever come to fruition. Even if everyone moves away from windows some other corporation will find a way to attract everyone to there platform.

8·10 days agoIt would be cheaper for everyone and there wouldn’t be three fuck ugly cars in front of every house.
They already exist, it’s called taxis. Or you can hire cars. But there still not cheaper, cause corporate needs number to go higher.

For what I’d be getting it seems like a really good deal, 2.4ghz wireless and Bluetooth. Sounds good too (imo). It also has two pre-lubed linear switch options but they both seem very similar. It’s a plastic case but I don’t have a huge issue with that, and at this price point a metal case is just impossible.
Perhaps the cheapness of switches shows how much we are being scammed on keycaps. Maybe keycaps are just expensive because of the group by system and most keycaps being produced in relatively small batches.
