Paced discussions for one. At least it keeps the hype for the later episodes. The big issue with Stone Ocean is David Productions’s B team animated it. It’s still good. It’s just it’s worse compared to other JoJo parts.

Finally caught up with Golden Kamuy. I thought at first it would be a bore. Turns out, I massively slept on this series. Episode 6 has quite the goated title drop, unmatched in anime.

Now for this episode, the final battle begins in Goryoukaku: Tsurumi vs. Hijikata. The navy ships did massive damage on the fort, but somehow, back in the Boshin War, Hijikata hid their flagship’s main gun. Here, Kadokura’s party used it to neutralize the ships (RIP, Koito’s dad).

Still, it was enough for the 7th Division to enter the fort. Asirpa has to protect the deed book at all costs. And who knows if there’s more room for Hijikata and Sofia to betray her. The one constant in Golden Kamuy is that there’s no friends, only interests. With the possible exception of Asirpa and the Immortal Sugimoto’s partnership.

Seasonal Animes to Watch - Spring 2026

1. Ganso! BanG Dream Chan - their humor is on point. I don’t mind the short length. The theme song grew on me too.
2. Witch Hat Atelier - Finally. I hope it lives to the hype. It’s one of my favorite mangas

This manga can end right here and right now and would still clear all the others I’ve read as the best overall by a wide margin.

What a payoff. My eyes are blessed for seeing kino.

Like I’m seriously planning to buy the JP volumes at this point.
