For a signifigant portion of the highway between Thunder Bay and the Manitoba border, there isn’t really a ditch at the side of the road.
It is either vertical rock wall on one side, or vertical drop-off down a rocky cliff (or into a lake) on the other side.

But strengthening ties with other countries and disentangling ourselves from such heavy reliance on a country that seeks to ruin ours seems to be steps toward long term sustainability of our own country.
My preference is that nobody collects my data. Especially when that means tracking my location and travelling habits.

In general, my preference would be to have much less software in a car.
I don’t need internet connected remote control, or everything hidden behind a touch screen.(touch screens are especially useless in the winter when you’re driving with gloves)

Apparently I’m the only person in the country who doesn’t find the seasonal time changing to be problematic.
I like having the extra sunshine hours in the summer evenings, and having sunrise come a bit sooner in the winter. And I’ve never personally experienced any dramatically negative effects on the days when the time changes.
