Windows file explorer lacked tabs when dolphin had them for a decade or so and its still not even close to even the top of file managers. Also its terrible slow, unreliable, crashes often and has 4 different UIs baked in.

Do some plugins for Dolphin, I feel like they are neat because a) other devs that want to implement a function now have a blueprint for it b) with downloads/stars metric that these add-on stores provide you get a good idea of what the community actually wants.

Imagine you either had to brew beer yourself (but max 12 beers a month!) or join a club that does it for you, but the club has to follow 1000 stupid rules and requires you to hire 10 lawyers to follow every single one of them.

You only can buy beer legally in a few pharmacies and need so see a doctor before. But hey the doctors appointment can legally be made over video call with some shady websites. Then you need to wait for shipment of beer 3-7 days, because most pharmacies only ship the cans and dont sell them over the counter.

Its only allowed to carry 4 cans of beer at a time and not around (complex matrix of institutions/places/zones and a distance relative to them) and you can still loose your drivers license of you have drank 2 beers 2 days ago.

I think we need to do a study that needs to involve all of CDU and CSU where they have to go through that exact procedure for some years every time they want to grab a beer and then see if there is a black market formed. Also we are gonna wire tap their phones for that reason and use a software from a war criminal that is called “Essence of Evil” to do just that. Yes I do this of course, with maintenance I meant deep cleaning stuff, unscrewing panels, tightening belts, replacing gears etc.

I exclusively print functional engineering stuff so single colour and whatever colour is the cheapest lol

To be fair their printers (P1S and H2D) are reliable workhorses, I cant remember if I ever had a failed print and they are basically in 24/7 operation since a year. Never had to do any maintenance.

Zed is quite impressive, it opens like instantly when you double click it.

VS Codium on the other hand takes a few seconds to display everything correctly. Yes once its open it speeds up and is not that slow anymore, but compared to Zed it does still feel very heavy.

The largest tram system in the world looks a bit sad, my random german city with 1/10 the population of Melbourne has 30 Mio. more riders annually on its trams.

They really need more interconnections and maybe some ring routes.

I have many russian (+ukrainian/kazakhstan etc.) friends and in fact they have a somewhat different attitude to food and restaurants as compared to europeans.

From my point of view they enjoy preparing food together, everyone brings something with them (salad, pickles, vodka… all of course self made), whereas in european countries I feel its more expected that the host provides the food already on the table or you go to a restaurant.
