Because you subcounciously don’t remember it if the perpetrator doesn’t get stated. Passive language is a form of brainwashing which works very well. This is why every Western propaganda outlet names the perpetrator much more frequently when it isn’t on their side. And they keep saying lines like"Iranian regime.
You are not reading news. You are reading propaganda to make you feel a certain way.
A huge amount of people don’t read past the headline. They will never read anything in the article, they only read the headline. This is why leaving key information out of the headlines (and frequently burying it far below the first sentence) is so damaging.
Yes Amnesy repeated the debunked hoax that Hamas raped women on october 7. They are a Zionist propaganda organisation. Also the Nariyah testimony and many more. Any time the empire needs atrocity propaganda, Amnesty is at their service.

Axios didn’t have a problem naming the perpetrators. And there’s really not much to guess.
Sure it can occasionally, but the passive voice is used much more frequently when opponents of the empire are the victim of the attack. It’s moreso a pattern than calling NYT out on a one-off.

BE is pro LGBT. He frequently mentions it including in his video about Norman Finkelstein, where he calls out Norman for his book. The reason for his attack was because a lot of trans people were using their identity to pinkwash the genocide and attacking the Palestinian resistance on it. BE then made an edgy tweet generalizing the entire white trans community for it but it’s not something that happens every single day nor is there a whole dossier about it.
If you want to call him out when he does it that’s fine but this video is about the DSA being Zionist imperialists and you’re doing nothing but detracting from its content with ad-hominems. There is nobody else calling out the DSA on being literal genocidaires.
