I think Nix is better used for things like servers instead of a daily driver PC. Having to fuck with config files for my laptop/desktop would be a nightmare that I refuse to go through. I’ve been playing with Nix on a home server and I’m loving it for that. With a limited scope on what actually needs to be installed it makes managing the configs possible.

I enjoy the verticality of the building, so instead of sprawl you can get super compact monoliths that are just so satisfying to watch the little beavers move about in. The water mechanics are also super interesting to play with and encourages you to build extensive damage systems (like your a city of beavers or something). If you enjoy city builders you should enjoy this. There’s a range of difficulty as well as a 2nd faction that plays very differently from the other beaver faction.

Yeah Librewolf does go really fucking hard on security/privacy to the detriment of functionality, but the are upfront with that so you shouldn’t be going in completely blind. I think Water Fox is a nice happy medium for users that don’t want to fuck around with technical stuff.

Or pick a Firefox fork that doesn’t have the AI bullshit. Libre Wolf is great for people who take security very seriously,l. I hear Water Fox is a much closer equivalent to Firefox without AI, and also has a focus on privacy. I’ve also been using Iron Fox on my android with basically no issues.

The issue is most games nowadays don’t work on day one, and you’ll probably have to download patches for it. The main selling point of plug and play for consoles is almost irrelevant with current publisher (and possible development) practices in the industry.

I would guess the deletion hasn’t propagated to all server instances so it’s still showing up in those instances. I imagine that posts are truly deleted but just marked as such I the database. Therefore a down vote could still be attached to the now deleted post this incrementing the counter.

Jokes aside, I’ve gone the route of just using an extension in VS code to give me the Vim key bindings. I can’t go back to non-modal text editors the muscle memory is too strong. I really should play around with emacs in “evil mode” at some point. Maybe I could get the best of both worlds then.

Yeah this screams templated email to me. You don’t need an AI to sound generic, you can just use a generic template. With the number of emails they send out I seriously doubt they want to spend the money on rejection emails generated by an AI.

Usually a good idea to leave files in system32 alone unless you know exactly what it does. It’s possible the drivers are being used for something else that just happens to use drivers provided by NVidia (assuming those files are indeed related to NVidia). I also doubt they’re taking up that much space on your drive.
