As long as workers in the respective country are paid and are not entirely dependend on tips: no.

I also don’t get paid extra money just for doing my job that I am already being paid for. It is so weird and asymmetric that tips are a thing in gastronomy and hospitality. As if these were the only low-wage jobs that can sometimes suck a lot.

If someone is unhappy about their wage, they need to take it up with their boss or organize in a union. It is not my responsibility to pay them.

This has two problems, because it assumes:

1. the next president will not be a similiar idiot
2. there will still be elections.

It has been looking like Trump is going for a dictatorship for a long time and things are getting increasingly worse recently.

This is how meta analyses work:
you look at available research, aggregate over it, draw conclusions. It is not unusual that such meta studies even point out that more research is needed.

In fact, it is often helpful to get this ‘more research’ funded.

Das ist wirklich witzig. Gibt genug Leute, die gut verdienen, aber jedes bis jedes zweite Jahr beruflich umziehen müssen. Schufa ist einfach irrsinniger Dreck. Schade nur, dass so viele Institutionen wert darauf legen und man anders kaum im Leben klarkommt, weil man ohne Schufa keine Wohnung, kein Konto usw. bekommt. Diese Entscheidungsgewalt sollte nicht in Händen eines privaten Unternehmens liegen, wenn es solche gewaltigen gesellschaftlichen Auswirkungen hat. Das ist, wenn überhaupt, Staatssache.

Even though as adults we have added multiple layers of awkwardness and social nuances on top, I suppose that in its core it is still as simple as that. Just politely talk to someone and see what happens.
