I cannot explain the amount of rage I experience when a website makes my scrollwheel do anything other than simply scrolling down, i.e. scrolling sideways or needlessly trying to do cool animations that just end up looking like shit

On Android, we got ironfox and cromite. most of the same privacy extentions are applicable.
If you want to use the tor network, go use the tor browser.
Frankly, I do not care that much that Mozilla makes most of its money from Google. I can change the search engine as the first thing I do and this fact simply stops affecting my experience negatively, especially on Firefox derivates.
Fuck polymarket, and fuck all betting really.

92·5 days agoYour spesific vote might not matter (unless you’re unimaginably lucky). But this mindset duplicated across millions, or even hundreds of thousands of people actually start moving the needle. Which is why not voting is still as bad as voting for Hitler.

2·10 days agoA calculator doesn’t remove your need to know what you need to solve a problem, and critically think to achieve that solution. It only accelerates the execution after all of the thinking has been done by the user. I cant solve a problem I dont know the formulas for even with a calculator.
AI is not the same. AI removes all thinking and “need to know” from the process.

Reading blogs on bearblog.dev is an amazing experience. No algorithms, no discourse, no AI slop (I mean, hopefully 😬) and a majorly decreased amount of depressing world news.
