This is so wrong it’s absurd. I work on machinery. Heavy equipment, I’ve dicked around with industrial robots and hell I even have and use a 3 axis cnc mill from 1986.

Most of the stuff that’s out there is reliable as time with very little maintenance required. Oil or grease movable joints. Top up oils, change oils every 1000hrs. It’s not hard or expensive to keep up on maintenance. Pay a premium and replace gear oil with PAG type oil, and you will never have to change that oil in your life.

Machines just work, they don’t have feelings, they don’t take sick days, they don’t take lunches. And why they fuck are you buying equipment with out way to pay it off first. Build it, and they will come. It doesn’t work all too well when everyone and their grandma has a cnc shop these days.

I got a bit excited, because I have a 40ft with the exact same set up but with steel. To store round bar stock, pipe, square tube etc for metal work. It even had an over head crane to move stock in and out. It was awesome until some fuck decided to back an excavator into the front doors and sides. Mangled the whole thing to shit.

It’s framed because it’s set up. That’s a trained dog not a wolf. A wolf wouldn’t even fit in that bed. Those motions are perfectly natural for a k9 especially the hop trot when draging the bed.

That’s funny yet odd. I use floppy disk still to this day for my 200aml cnc plasma table. It’s the easiest method to load the gcode on. The rs232 is to much of a p.i.a. I used to have an issue when I used a USB floppy drive into my laptop. I ended up finding a pc with a dedicated floppy drive since then. I’ve had zero issues. Wich is also more surprising that floppy disks even work around the big ass high voltage transformer for the plasma power source. The big servo motor drives and the welders in the shop.

Yeah I kina lucked out I found a 10 pack of new ones on Amazon about 2 years ago. And recently, while cleaning out an old auto performance shop, there was like 2 or 3 55gal drums full of used and new floppy disks.

Also more recently there was something about Japan finaly upgrading their i.t infrastructure from floppy disks to more modern tech.

Hell apparently they still make cassette tapes for use in prisons because you can’t make a shank out of one with the materials they use for them.

Fuck bud I still use floppy disks. It’s damn hard to find a pc with a dedicated floppy drive. Those usb floppy drives fail writing to floppy more often than not.

Yes but now the fire place chanel is just that more emersive. Also I keep our plasma in the bedroom. On cold winter nights it makes things cozy.
