I didn’t. But, trust is broken. Sports dont generally have overnight trips, the comparison isnt really the same. Maybe that is why.

I had to prove to my partner that Walmart isnt always the cheapest, and it is not. I do however, put an hour or two a week planning/finding cheaper options, which I have the time for thankfully.

I was a girl scout for 10 years as a kid. Loved it. Wanted to put my son in scouts. The year I was to sign him up, the local leader got arrested for you know what. I just, can’t trust it.

I signed him up for Big Brothers/Big Sisters instead, and only after he was old enough to communicate well.

I love scouting. But, Like the catholic church, I just can’t. Good program if you know your leaders. My leaders as a kid were two of my Aunts. But, idk. Im glad to see they are addressing the issue though.

Just so you know, this just came up in converstation with my husband, (losing hobbies because of work). So I read him out what you said, and what I said. He said, “you’re better than 80% of the people I work with, that’s just some online troll, Im serious you’re better than most people I work with, don’t listen to people like that”.

Every Fall (okay, the last few years) I plant garlic I get from the farmers market. I let a couple bloom out last year, though it takes a two year cycle to get them to grow from seed (it’s called something else, theyre little bulbs), I want to learn how to do it.

I bought tomato plants once, and throw a few tomatoes in random soil spots in my… sparadic garden. Maybe spastic garden fits better lol. Volunteer tomatoes always do better than my little seedlings. Note, I kind of suck at gardening.

Pumpkins. Went to a local farm… four years ago for fall pumpkins. Ive been spreading the seed in the fall since, and get a few every year.

I grew great potatoes once from a bag of rooted out local organic potatoes my neighbor gave me.

I love feral gardening.
