  • Yes, asahi on a 8Gb/256 Mac book air. I gave it like 80Gb during setup and that was plenty. At the time microphone, display port and fingerprint didn’t work, but I think even the mic works now. Had to fight with a little to get display link (apple’s video out is special) so it would play nice on some docks, besides that battery was solid, and it just worked.

  • You’re in a “place” where you have time to think about relationships. That’s a positive in that you’re thinking about them and want one. You don’t get relationships, you end up in them. And they don’t have to start in person or in public. Find a way to connect to local people, even Facebook could help with that but there are probably better options than Facebook.

I have an NT friend from long ago that was between relationships. I was asking what he was looking for. The answer is one I hold onto. “Someone normal. Ya know, fucked up like me.” When I think about it, there’s no magical “the one”, well not 99.99% of the time. But there are normal folks like me that I like talking with, playing games with, doing things with. And they’re not perfect, they’re fucked up like me. And sometimes someone will look at you like that. Poof, relationship.

  • As for the Walmart batteries, if the cold cranking amps are the same on the all 3 versions, no, there isn’t, you’re just “extending” the warranty. They all last around 3 years now, and are prorated. The exchange cost on a gold battery at 3 years is only going to be a few dollars different from strait up buying the replacement battery. Usually they have a chart with what it is per age. The one year will be like 100% in month one, next to nothing by month 12. Gold will be like 100% for year one then drop to next to nothing by month 36. Amazing how their pricing of tiers corresponds to how many they’re likely to need to replace or exchange.
