One of my absolute favourite games. It’s actually my second-most played game of all time I believe. It doesn’t get talked about nearly enough on here imo, I’m excited to see someone else playing it.

What OS are you on? I’ve been wanting to try modding Elden Ring but I’m worried it’ll be tough on Linux (I also haven’t had time).

So I was curious and put it into a converter, USD 3.84 $/gal. is equivalent to CAD 138.0 ¢/L. The gas station by my place was 169.9 the other day which is equivalent to 4.73 for our southern neighbours.
Put “!ai_or_not@piefed.social” in square brackets, followed by “https://piefed.social/c/ai_or_not ” in round brackets, with no space in between. At least that’s how I’ve always done it. So it should look like [ !ai_or_not@piefed.social ] ( https://piefed.social/c/ai_or_not ) but without the spaces

Related, I also run a weekly recommendations thread over on !patientgamers@sh.itjust.works where we discuss games we’re playing that are over a year old! I usually make a new post every Wednesday. Feel free to stop by and contribute, I’d love to hear more about your journey!
i’ll never buy another bethesda title unless a year has passed

Yep, it was a very expensive and invasive procedure but it had to be done. We were going to regardless since you should always fix your cats but in addition to that, having both testicles and a uterus can lead to a lot of health complications in cats. Most commonly a far higher chance at getting cancer in that area.

Born with both testicles and a uterus. All male on the outside, all female on the inside. Kinda neat, but unfortunately very expensive to fix. It had to be done though, 1) because you should fix your cats anyway, and 2) because apparently it causes a lot of health issues if you don’t fix it, including a very high chance for cancer in that region.

So is my cat, who I worship, so that checks out.

Cat in question, who is very deserving of worship.

Joke’s on you, I have the opposite problem where I don’t have enough anxiety which leads to me never properly preparing for anything because “I’ll deal with it when I get to it”. So I’m always present and in the moment without preparing for the future 😎

I mean you’re probably right but at least for where I live, your numbers are WAY off. Looks like this is four 24 packs, which where I live goes for around $60 on the cheap end. So that’s $240 at a minimum. Assuming they do a bulk discount, maybe an even $200 if it’s cheap beer. On the other extreme, basically any restaurant here charges $9-10 for standard domestic beer, and obviously more for imported or premium. So that’s looking at close to $1,000 for all that. A bundle discount might bring it down to $900 or $850 or something. And then I guess you could go even further and talk about higher end beers which are oftentimes $20 here, or more probably too. So double the previous numbers.
All that’s to say, even on the low end of $200, that’s still nuts for 5 beers. That would be $40 per beer, which even high end at a specialty restaurant I wouldn’t expect to see that high. Hell, even at a stadium, I think I’ve only seen as high as $25-30 for a single high end beer. I just checked online actually and I could get a 5L keg of Heineken at my local liquor store for $42. And for high end stuff, the most expensive individual beer I could get right now is $34, and that’s for 750ml which is larger than what’s shown in the picture.

Username checks out.

My grocery store has had these for a while. Dynamic price reductions are coming too. Instead of a set % off, it’ll calculate the most optimal percentage to take off based on popularity of the product, how long until expiry, etc. Just a heads up.

Fair enough. If you do ever give it a shot though, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I’m currently watching Handmaid’s Tale for the first time (the show, not the movie. I haven’t seen the movie). I’ve never read the book either so no spoilers please. Anyway, it’s eerie how many things are lining up. Like you said, supposed to be a warning, not a guidebook.

Seeing all the awards it’s won, I’m honestly surprised it isn’t more popular. I don’t know what their sales numbers are obviously, but no one I’ve mentioned it to has ever heard of it before. I first discovered it at a restaurant that specializes in beer varieties, the server said it doesn’t get picked much but it’s one of, if not the best beer on the menu. I looked it up a bit more after trying it and really liking it, and saw it had a ton of awards and there was a beer magazine that called it the best in the world, so I thought I’d look for it figuring it would be popular, but apparently not. Maybe it’s big in Belgium, I’m not sure, but it’s definitely hard to find where I live.

I haven’t played this game, but to answer your other question,
And what is your favourite beer?
I’d have to go with Delirium Tremens. It’s a bit hard to find in Canada and a bit more expensive than regular beer but it’s definitely worth it.

I’ve been following the series since probably 2017 (back when they were individual instalments) and I’m still not bored of it so I agree it’s a game you could play for years.
