Yours get started early! There are two pairs who nest in the awning above our kitchen window every year. I see them hopping around in the tree out front but they haven’t started rebuilding their nests just yet.
For many habitats in California winter by the calendar is springtime for plants and animals. Nesting season starts mid February.
