I would remove the reapportionment act and return the house of representatives to the people.

I would require ranked choice voting for all elected federal positions.

I would require all political donations to be public and open and go into a general election fund requiring all candidates to meet a minimum signature number to access funds.

All media platforms would be required to provide editorially free time during election season in equal portion to all qualified candidates. Eg. Debates, interviews, speeches, roundtables, essays…

I would scrap the tax code, return to a reasonable progressive structure and require Congress to fund programs directly rather than through tax incentives or rebate. You want to pay people back for their mortgage interest fine just do it directly, not as a deduction.

All compensation private or public would be pegged to the lowest wage paid to any employee or contractor.

Universal healthcare including vision, dental, and mental.

Universal paternity and maternity leave.

Universal daycare and preschool.

Universal education, no cap.

Tenants/rental unions would be mandatory, as would employee/contractor unions.

Police would be required to live in their justifications and their first duty would be to the population and life before property.

I could probably come up with more but any one of these would probably have a positive effect.

• make politicians have to submit a bills during their election that automaticaly gets submitted / go up for vote once theyre elected - they automatically vote yes. Charge them if they claim they will try to do something they dont actively have a bill ready for when running for election.
• All districts must be done by an independent 3rd party using algorithms to ensure fairness like some states tried doing while republicans just gerrymandered
• tax billionaires a ton. Top tax bracket should be taxed 80%.
• de-privatize everything. Privatization majes everything more expensive. Spin off or fix departments specifically for running the services: public transit, groceries, utilities/energy, healthcare, etc. Standardize usage nationwide (e.g. same buses, trains, etc).
• more public infrastructure for bikes
• end funding and subsidies for private services and just make the public services better or revive them if they sold it off. End subsidies for corn, gas, coal, efc
