    TIL Monsters Inc 2 exists.

Coco 2 seems overly pointless, but I can’t Imagine a sequel to Monster Inc so who am I to say.

2 was a prequel about Mike and Sulley in college because they couldn’t imagine a sequel to Monsters inc either. It was fine but pretty unnecessary, I definitely wouldn’t expect a 3 to be any good.

Of the three, Coco was the best movie but also by far the least sequel-worthy. WTF else could there possibly be to resolve?!

I suppose they could tell some other story in the same “day of the dead” setting, but it makes no sense for it to be about the same family, let alone titled “Coco”.
