They’re just shuffling cards. What defines conservatism is nodding along with everyone in that lame podunk church. It’s ingroup loyalty as a theory-of-everything. Reality as a team sport. Opposite claims from the same authority figure can and will be met with the same positive response. If you’re left confused, well, do your research, pray about it, study it out. Find whatever excuses let you maintain allegiance to people instead of ideas.
