Exactly. Since n is represented by the collection of clothes, it is O(1) if you are only going through a finite subset of the clothes. If everything is in the closet, and in no particular order, you would then do O(n) because you potentially have to go through the entire collection to find one article of clothing.

It gets even worse if your idea of organization is placing the clothes neatly yet with no real order in a closet with multiple drawers and containers inside. In this last scenario you get O(n²) because you now have to repeatedly search through n numbers of clothing containers.

This is like the idea of having sex on the beach. Who really wants that. You didn’t think it through if you want that. Do you really want to invite sand and salmonella to the mix?

My wife once worked at a Catholic school which had training where they had guys like this. They fired real weapons with blanks to do active shooter training. She was a great teacher, but bullshit like that is amongst the reasons she no longer teaches.

Agreed but the top comment of this reply chain is so disingenuous. It’s like someone posting “Hey guys, its my birthday!”, then they pop in to be contrarian and say “don’t forget you are going to die someday.”

I don’t get why they left a comment like this. Are they upset Mamdani won? If they actually like Mamdani they could have said “I hope the American people continue to support people like Mamdani if or when it comes out that they aren’t some perfect superhero, and are just human like all of us”.

Specifically the comment focuses on the left and attacks them as being non-compromising, and acts like this is a fact, when the left has shown its self to be quite compromising time and time again.

Remember its not left vs right, but top vs bottom and the only attacks done should be on the top. Anything else is divisive and helps the billionaires stay in power.

This is so true. I think I recall the current administration saying that ranked voting is bad for everyone and we need to pass laws banning it. They want every election to be first past the post since it benefits them in addition to gerrymandering and winner take all electoral college voting.

My ancestors were technically here before the US was a thing and aren’t even native Americans. They were given land grants from spain to parts of the Spanish territory that are now parts of Texas.

Immigrants are where America gets its strength. Attacking immigrants is just an attempt to weaken the people, divide and conquer, so the rich can stay in power.
